DEBRA FIGUEROA, M.D.

Dr. Figueroa is a board certified family physician. She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida Medical School and completed her residency at Bayfront Medical Center.  

During her time as a family practice physician her passion and focus on prevention of both cardiovascular disease and diabetes, led her to the realization of the difficulties that both men and women face with achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.

Obesity is one of the leading national epidemics. Patients suffering from obesity are at increased risk for the development of heart disease, diabetes and some cancers. After seeing many of her patients develop these life threatening diseases and how this has affected their lives, she has expanded her scope of practice to include helping patients lose the weight they need to live a longer healthier life.

SHERRI MORRISON, R.N., B.S.N.

Sherri qualified as a Registered Nurse, B.S.N. from Temple University in Philadelphia. After moving to St. Petersburg, Florida Sherri’s began her clinical experience in pediatrics at All Children’s Hospital and then in Labor & Delivery at Humana Women’s Hospital. She was instrumental in the development of both St. Anthony’s Health Line and All Children’s On-Call programs.  

Sherri ultimately found her passion in disease state management and wellness promotion. Working with multiple Medical Directors she assisted in the development of national telephone triage protocols for hospital systems, which focus on the promotion of wellness and disease prevention. 

The obvious ability to merge her nursing training and scholastic organizational abilities ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the Success by Design programs, and the regulation of future progressions.

Sherri brings over 20 years of nursing experience including an emphasis on the promotion of cardiovascular, diabetic and cholesterol treatment. She is passionate about working with patients to assure success in meeting their personal health and fitness goals.
